I seriously think Samsung should consider temporarily stepping away from the smartphone market.

First, its smartphone business is facing increasing pressure on profitability. If you're investing enormous resources and selling millions of devices without generating profits that justify those investments, what's the point of continuing?

Second, Samsung's smartphones and software have become increasingly uncompetitive. Innovation is stagnating, the software experience is falling behind, yet the prices remain ridiculously high. Why should consumers keep paying a premium for products that offer so little in return?

Instead of continuing to waste resources and damage its brand reputation, Samsung should consider putting its smartphone business on hold and rethinking its entire strategy.

This could help Samsung reduce potential losses while making more room for Chinese smartphone brands to compete globally, bringing greater innovation, stronger competition, and more choices to consumers worldwide.

Consumers deserve better products and more options.

If Samsung can no longer keep up with the competition, perhaps it's time to step aside.

Samsung's biggest camera innovation for the Galaxy S27 series? Take the two telephoto cameras from the S26 Ultra. Give the 3x to the S27 Pro and the 5x to the S27 Ultra. Same cameras. Two new flagships. Double the marketing. Samsung: Innovation through subtraction. 💀
